Tierly

Rule-based tiered discounts for Shopify merchants who outgrew the native discount editor.

Overview

Tierly lets Shopify merchants run volume pricing, loyalty ladders, and seasonal promotions without rebuilding the same discount logic for every offer. Define a tier once — spend thresholds, eligible products, targeting rules, date ranges — and reuse it across product, order, BOGO, and free shipping discounts. Built for stores that hit the limits of Shopify's native discount editor but don't want to manage discount JSON by hand.

Features

  • Define a tier once and apply it across multiple discounts
  • Stack multiple quantity or spend tiers inside a single discount
  • Target by collection, product tag, or specific products and variants
  • Run product, order, BOGO, and free shipping discounts from one tool

Who it's for

Mid-market DTC and wholesale-adjacent Shopify brands running multi-step volume pricing, quantity ladders, or layered seasonal promotions. Most useful when your catalog is large enough that you can't manage discounts one variant at a time, and when Shopify's native discount editor can't express the tier logic you need — but you don't want to drop into metafield JSON or hire a developer to launch every offer.

How it works

  1. Install Tierly from the Shopify App Store and start the 7-day trial.
  2. Build a tier template — set thresholds (quantity or spend), the reward (percentage, flat amount, BOGO, or free shipping), and any targeting rules.
  3. In Shopify's normal discount-create flow, pick the Tierly function that matches the discount type and link your saved tier.
  4. Reuse the same tier across as many discounts as you need without rebuilding the rule set each time.

What makes it different

Most Shopify discount apps focus on a single discount type — a BOGO tool, a volume pricing tool, a free shipping tool — and rebuild the same condition logic inside every offer you create. Tierly is built around reusable tier templates instead: define a tier once and attach it to product, order, BOGO, or free shipping discounts from the same place.

That separation is what makes launching a related promotion take minutes instead of starting from scratch, and what keeps multi-step ladders consistent across the catalog without anyone editing metafield JSON.
