Overview
Easy Omnibus keeps Shopify merchants on the right side of the EU Omnibus Directive by automatically tracking every price change and displaying the lowest price from the last 30 days directly on product pages. It captures price changes in real time via Shopify webhooks, with a daily backup snapshot at 14:00 UTC, so merchants never have to think about compliance again. Built for EU and EEA stores running discounts, sales, or promotions where regulators require historical lowest-price disclosure.
Features
- Real-time price tracking via Shopify
products/updatewebhooks — no manual logging - Theme app extension drops a "lowest 30-day price" badge straight onto product pages, in 24+ languages

- Daily scheduled price capture as a safety net in case a webhook is missed
- Compliance dashboard showing tracked products, markets, and 30-day price stats
- Variant metafields (
omnibus_global_snapshot,omnibus_markets_snapshot) so other apps and themes can read snapshots too
Who it's for
EU and EEA-based Shopify merchants — small to mid-sized DTC and fashion/beauty/home stores — who run discounts or promotional pricing and need to comply with the Omnibus Directive (in force across the EU since 2022). Especially valuable for shops selling into multiple EU markets via Shopify Markets, where prices and compliance requirements differ per country.
How it works
- Install the app from the Shopify App Store and start the 7-day free trial during onboarding.
- The app syncs your products and variants and starts listening to Shopify price-change webhooks immediately.
- Add the "Omnibus Price" block to your product template in the Shopify theme editor — the lowest 30-day price appears automatically.
- (Optional) Turn on per-market tracking from the Markets page for the Shopify Markets where you sell at different prices; each tracked market adds $9.99/month, capped at $49.95.
That's it — no manual logging, CSV uploads, or per-product configuration.
What makes it different
Most Omnibus compliance apps either rely on merchants manually entering historical prices, or they only display a static "was/now" comparison. Easy Omnibus actually tracks every price change as it happens via Shopify's webhook system, with a scheduled job as a backup, so the displayed lowest price is always accurate and defensible. The data lives in your shop's records, not a third-party silo.
It's also one of the few Omnibus apps with first-class support for Shopify Markets — most competitors treat your shop as a single price stream, but EU Omnibus rules apply per market, and a price drop in Germany shouldn't set the reference price in France. Per-market tracking records each market independently and shows the right lowest price to the right customer, and you only pay for the markets you switch on.
FAQ
How long is the free trial?
7 days, with every feature unlocked. Shopify asks you to approve the subscription up front, but nothing is charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
What will shoppers see right after I install?
Price history starts the moment you install. For a discounted product, the badge shows a lowest price only once a lawful 30-day reference exists for it. Until then it shows a short notice that price history is still being collected, so your store never displays a figure it could not defend.
How is the lowest price calculated?
It is the lowest price the variant was sold at during the 30 days before the current discount started, which is what Article 6a of the Price Indication Directive requires. Price changes are captured in real time from Shopify, with a daily snapshot as a safety net.
Do I need to edit my theme code?
No. Open the theme editor, add the "Omnibus Pricing" block to your product template and save. It works with any Online Store 2.0 theme, inherits your fonts and colours, and can be placed next to the price with an optional CSS selector.
Does it work with Shopify Markets?
Yes. Turn on tracking for the markets where you sell at different prices and each one keeps its own price history and its own lowest price. Each tracked market adds $9.99 per month, capped at $49.95.
Which languages are supported?
The storefront badge and the admin are available in 24 EU languages, from Bulgarian to Swedish, including German, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish and Dutch.
What data do you store?
Your shop details, product and variant prices, and their history. The app does not store customer data. See the privacy policy for the details.
